Our Story

It all started back in 1958, when Romeo ‘Mayo’ Lanoue and Charlotte turned a dream—and a basement—into a business. With passion, perseverance, and a strong work ethic, they laid the foundation for something truly special.

In 1962, the company took its first big step forward, moving out of the basement and into its first real location on Cyrville Road in Ottawa. As the business grew, so did the family’s commitment to doing things the right way—always with heart, care, and quality at the core.

By December 1995, it was time for a new chapter, and the business moved to StarTop Road, where we continue to serve our community today.

Over the years, ownership passed from one generation to the next—from Romeo ‘Mayo’ Lanoue and Charlotte to Joanne and Perry — keeping it in the family and staying true to the values that started it all.

More than six decades later, we’re still family-owned, and just as passionate about what we do.
